35007 is the code name for Somewhat anonymous Eindhoven based electro-stoner act, a quintet with a unique sound. Ranging from firm grooves drenched in multiple layers of sound and hypnotic riffs to flowing soundscapes.
35007 do not credit individual musicians on their album covers. Initially entitled Loose the band subsequently adopted the Alabama zip code as their moniker, perhaps because bassist and bandleader Michel Boukhoudt also operates with the Alabama Kids.
Origianal drummer Jacco van Rooy was also in Alabama Kids as well as citing credits with 7 Zuma 7. 35007 debuted in 1994 with the album "Especially For You", which was remastered and rereleased in 1999.
The group’s sophomore album "35007" was released on October 14th 1997 to celebrate the anniversary of Chuck Yeager’s successful attempt at breaking the sound barrier.
Ater the release of 35007's 10” single (issued on Man’s Ruin label) drummer Sander Evers was enrolled, replacing previous sticksman Jacco van Roy.
35007 's third full-length release, 2002's "Liquid", is a fully instrumental, conceptual effort consisting of just four songs that, one presumes, are meant to illustrate the fluid state in musical form.
"Phase V", the band's fourth album, sees the light of day in November 2005. The release is issued in complete black artwork without any information printed on it. It features five instrumental songs on which the band continue their fully instrumental jour.....
