 Motorpsycho has finished a new album: "Black Hole / Black Canvas". The CD will be released in March, followed by a promotional tour in April. For their tour the band have recruited Dutch drummer Jacco van Rooy (photo), known from 7Zuma7, 35007, and Suimasen.
Motorpsycho has finished a new album: "Black Hole / Black Canvas". The CD will be released in March, followed by a promotional tour in April.
The Norwegian band have recruited Dutch sticksman Jacco van Rooy (photo), known from 7Zuma7, 35007 and Suimasen among others, as their touring drummer.
Van Rooy has traveled to Norway and is currently rehearsing several hours a day with the band.
Van Rooy and Motorpsycho have met quite some years ago: the drummer was support act for Motorpsycho in 1994.
Motorpsycho drummer Håkon Gebhardt left the band in 2005, to focus on his own project HGH.
The new Motorpsycho album "Black Hole / Black Canvas" was recorded and mixed at the Void studios in Eindhoven by producer Pieter Kloos.
